Shawna's Bio
"Well known for her bright personality and exceptional singing style, Shawna wows audiences at a variety of venues throughout Ohio, West Virginia, Indiana and Florida" says L.B.Whyde of the Newark Advocate. She has been the opening act for such top national headliners as Brad Paisley, Josh Gracin , Trick Pony, Andy Griggs, Blue Country, Sawyer Brown, David Lee Murphy, Lee Roy Parnell, John Berry, Sammy Kershaw, Exile, Kevin Sharp, Styx, Pinmonkey, Michael Mason and Bonepony. Her songwriting and powerful style have been displayed at fairs, festivals, theatres, conventions, corporate and political functions, benefits, private parties and other venues in many states.

This summer you may have seen Shawna on the Speed Channel singing the national anthem before the Power stroke 200, the Nascar Craftsman Truck Series Race, or before the NHRA US Nationals Final sat Indianapolis Raceway Park. She has also performed the national anthem for the Tampa Bay Devil Rays, the Baltimore Orioles, Harley Davidson Flat-track Motorcycle Race, the Columbus Crew, and many other sporting events.

Shawna's song "Call" was voted a hit on WCLT-100's "Hit or Miss" contest. She's excited about the upcoming release of her new CD featuring original songs including "Call", from past recording artist/producer/composer Ronn Price , country artist/songwriter Kevin Marcy, musician/songwriter Glen Burtnick, well-known folk artist Debbie Smith, and singer/songwriter Mendy Shaw.

Recently Shawna won the America's Largest Country Music Talent Search, the Colgate Country Showdown's West Virginia State Title in Parkersburg, W. VA. Shawna went on to be a finalist at the Northeast Regional Competition in Wheeling W. VA.

Shawna also does voice-over's, jingles, television and radio commercials. She is active in the community and volunteers her time among the Special Olympics, Hospice of Central Ohio, The Children's Hospital of Columbus, and All Children's Hospital.
